California Dividend Donation Campaign
If you live in California, and pay your utility bill to PG&E, Southern California Edison, or San Diego Gas & Electric, you will be receiving a climate dividend from your utility. This is a huge breakthrough for the dividend movement! The dividend will be listed on your utility bill, and you will be receiving information from your utility about it.
Dividends for America would like to encourage you to donate your dividend to support our efforts to achieve a national dividend as part of a national carbon price so that others can get dividends too. Make a donation in the amount of your climate dividend to the Climate Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization at their donation page and mention “California Dividend Donation for Dividends for America” in the memo line.
Your donation will go towards outreach to organizations and individuals about dividends, communications with groups around the country working on promoting dividends, and other efforts to implement a carbon price with dividends returned to households. A portion of funds will go to the future fiscal sponsor to support our work.
